HTN Desuperheating Water Control Valve
The HTN desuperheating water control valve is a cavitation-preventing multi-stage throttling control valve, also known as a high-differential pressure control valve. It is a novel-structured patented product in China. This valve is mainly used in power plants with units ≤600,000 KW to control the flow of spray desuperheating water for boiler main steam and reheat steam. It can also be applied in the petroleum and chemical industries to control the flow of high-pressure liquids.

 

The HTN desuperheating water control valve has the following advantages:

 

  1. The fluid is depressurized step by step, and its direction changes continuously, which increases the flow resistance, controls the flow velocity, prevents cavitation damage, and allows a pressure difference of 15MPa inside the valve.
  2. Multi-stage throttling: 4-stage throttling at large flow rates and 5-stage throttling at small flow rates, reducing flow erosion and abrasion.
  3. The throttling surface is separated from the sealing surface. The surfaces of the valve core and valve core sleeve are hardened to a hardness of approximately HRC70, ensuring tight closure and a long service life.
  4. The surface of the valve core is provided with large notches, so even if the fluid contains solid particles such as 2-3mm welding slag, the valve core will not get stuck and can move flexibly.
  5. It has excellent flow regulation performance and a wide adjustment range (about 60-70%).

Installation method:

Vertical installation. There are two types of relative positions between the inlet pipe and the outlet pipe, as shown in the figure below:
