V400-V-Notch Control Ball Valve features small size, light weight, high flow capacity and wide adjustable range. The unique V-shaped notch on the plug forms a fan-shaped area with the seat, in the opening and closing process, the purpose of medium flow adjusting is achieved by changing the flow cross-sectional area, the flow characteristics is approximately equal percentage. During the operation the plug is always stick to the seat to produce a scratch effect to prevent dirt from adhering to the fan-shaped area, the V-shaped cut has sharp edges to easily cut fiber medium, which makes it suitable for medium containing fiber, fine particles,slurry and so on.
The combination seat contains special hexagonal springs which not only provides preload but also reduce the friction between the plug and the seat and torque. The metal seated sealing goes through special hardening treatment as well as dedicated grinding treatment to achieve high roundness and surface roughness, which ensures excellent reliable sealing and anti-wear properties. The soft-seated sealing contains PTFE to obtain tight shut-off and throttling.
V-Notch Control Ball Valve is usually equipped with dual-piston gear-rack pneumatic actuators which feature compact structure, symmetric mounting position, output shaft shift change convenience, large and stable output torque and stable, long life span, prompt action and so on. Single and double acting cylinders are both available.
Single acting cylinders, gears-rack cylinders and electric, hydraulic actuators are available.
